Microphones
Microphone with preamp and BNC connector for oscilloscope. Remove the BNC cable, and the microphone can be used with a computer and the Soundcard Oscilloscope app. When using "Scope":
- Sign in to the computer.
- Turn on the microphone preamp.
- When your desktop appears, plug in the microphone in to the computer's front headset jack.
Select "Mic In" and click on <OK>. - Start the Scope application. If Scope does not react to the microphone:
Select the "Settings" tab and then Input: Jack mic (Realtek Audio). - If Scope still does not show a microphone signal, check the Windows Recording level.

FrontMic: 90
Microphone Boost: +30.0dB - If you still do not have a microphone signal, then Windows Microphone Privacy Setting my be Off.
Search for "Privacy Settings" and select Microphone. Switch on:
Allow apps to access your microphone <On>
Allow desktop apps to access your microphone <On> - You may need to close Scope and then open it again.
A Pasco Microphone (Sound Sensor) can be connected to a Pasco interface. Run Capstone to display the output.
