I am interested in teaching Physics courses that involve problem solving and mathematics. Particularly I enjoy teaching calculus based introductory Physics, Junior Labs, Electrodynamics, Mathematical Physics and Modern Physics.

My research interest is on magnetic and electronic properties of iron bearing materials and minerals. Current research is focused on chemical synthesis and characterization of transition metal substituted magnetite, MxFe3-xO4 (M = Co, Ni, Cu) nanomagnetic materials for biomedical and high frequency applications, as well as mechanochemical synthesis of transition metal oxides by ball milling.
